EROSION PROTECTION

Roof overhangs are great for keeping the rain off you but the drip edge not only erodes the soil around your home or cottage, it splashes mud onto the exterior walls.  Perhaps a diversion of ground run off is needed to reclaim a soft and soggy area.  Positive drainage away from your structure is key to erosion protection and is accomplished with proper grading and application of a variety of natural stone and man-made products. Not only does it stop the erosion; it also keeps the tall grass and things that live in the grass away from the home.   Rieger Contracting can provide alternatives that enhance the look of your home or cottage.

FEATURED STONE WORK

Sometimes vast spaces look bland.  People walk or park where you would rather they did not. Rieger Contracting can transform these spaces with a few weathered boulders to enhance visual appeal and encourage appropriate use of space.

Create an elegant garden bed, elevate a walkway, or enhance a stunning lookout.  Whatever the reason, Rieger Contracting constructs retaining walls of natural or man-made products that enhance the natural surroundings. Large indigenous boulders naturally weathered and installed to suit your taste, with the empty spaces planted in any variety of vegetation, particularly suit the landscape.  Not only will they last for generations but they will look like they have been in place for a few already.  For a more modern look, any number of man-made products can be used to provide structure.

They look great and last generations, plus they help to keep dirty summer feet to a minimum.
